Former United States Air Force Lieutenant General Joins OpsLab to Lead International Strategy

Lt. Gen. (R) Lance “Spike” Landrum served as the NATO Military Committee’s 23rd Deputy Chairman

AUSTIN, Texas – OpsLab Inc. today announced the hiring of Lieutenant General (R) Lance “Spike” Landrum to lead the company’s international strategy. Lt. Gen Landrum brings decades of United States Air Force experience. Most recently, he served as the 23rd Deputy Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, where he helped forge consensus by negotiating compromise among Allies as the headquarters developed political-military advice for the North Atlantic Council. He was also the United States European Command Director of Operations (J3), leading the EUCOM staff in all matters related to current and future operations and helped develop operational plans and strategy revisions to converge and align with NATO planning.

Lt. Gen. Landrum also held leadership positions during multiple international assignments and deployments, including command of the 510th Fighter Squadron, and later the 31st Fighter Wing out of Aviano Air Base in Italy and the 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group out of Joint Base Balad, Iraq. He is a command pilot with more than 2,800 flying hours, including 395 combat hours.

“One of the best things our Allies and partners can do to enhance the operational readiness of their flying squadrons is to reduce time wasted using outdated systems,” said Lt. Gen. (R) Landrum. “What excites me most is that the OpsLab solution set is proven. It’s currently having a measurable impact here in the U.S. – already saving our Airmen thousands of hours – and it will certainly have an impact for international Allies and partners, starting with NATO.”

“We’re seeing a huge demand from the international market,” said Arun Nair, CEO and Co-founder of OpsLab. “With the addition of Lt. Gen. Landrum to the OpsLab team, we now have the proven experience and leadership to expand our capabilities to our NATO Allies and partners. Alongside Gen. Wilson and Maj. Gen. Corcoran, we’re incredibly excited to see our military leadership team grow.”
